MAD TAILORS | Eclectic twist on Mediterranean Cuisine

Mad Tailors for breakfast is a great choice! They updated their menu on the first of August so there are a few newbies on there to try. Tartines are a good start to any day, you just have to decide which one. We ordered the Tartine with avocado, cherry tomatoes and poached eggs which is nice, but the real winner was the Tartine with eggs, chorizo and yoghurt sauce. A lovely combination of flavours and their sourdough is excellent.

They’ve taken the cube-shaped Pistachio Croissant off the menu which we unfortunately never got to try as it was not available at the time or was always sold out when we visited. My curiosity will not let me live this one down. I’ve seen it, but I never got to taste it, and now I feel I may have missed out. They now offer an Almond Croissant which they serve with a vanilla custard on the side. Their almond croissant is good, and so is their vanilla custard, so all is well – except it’s not the cubed shaped pistachio croissant I missed out on…

Mad Tailors do know how to make an excellent coffee! And we recommend trying their fresh passion fruit juice as well.
